At Nordic Neon, we care about responsible recycling and environmentally friendly disposal.

Here you’ll find all essential information on how to properly dispose of LED neon signs and packaging in accordance with EU regulations.

WEEE Directive & Electrical Waste Disposal

In accordance with the WEEE Directive 2012/19/EU, electrical devices must not be disposed of with household waste.

All Nordic Neon products are marked with the crossed-out wheeled bin symbol, indicating separate collection of electronic waste.

How to Dispose of Your LED Neon Sign

• Take your device to official local collection points

• Use certified take-back systems (retailers or online stores)

• Remove batteries or rechargeable batteries before disposal

• Delete any stored personal data (if applicable)

Packaging Recycling (VerpackG Compliance)

We are registered with the German packaging register (LUCID) and comply with all requirements of the Packaging Act (VerpackG).

All packaging materials can be recycled through standard waste systems.

Proper Disposal of Packaging Materials

• Cardboard & paper → paper recycling

• Plastic packaging → recycling bin

• Biodegradable filling → organic waste (if applicable)
